NUST Balochistan Campus (NBC) in Quetta was inaugurated in 2019. What Is NBC?
NUST Balochistan Campus (NBC) is located on Kuch Road, Quetta. It was inaugurated in September 2019 by the Chief of Army Staff. The campus was established to help develop human resources in Balochistan by producing a quality workforce in engineering, computer sciences, and other fields.
Undergraduate Programs at NBC
BE Civil Engineering covers structural, geotechnical, transportation, and water resources engineering with a focus on infrastructure needs in Balochistan. BS Computer Science follows the SEECS curriculum. BS Artificial Intelligence is a newer program focusing on machine learning, deep learning, and intelligent systems. BS English (Language and Literature) covers linguistics, literature, and communication skills — this is the only undergraduate English degree offered at NUST.
Campus Life
NBC has hostel facilities, sports amenities, and a purpose-built campus. The smaller student body creates a closer community compared to the larger H-12 campus.
